Todd was rushed to a Tallahassee hospital where he was pronounced dead from his injuries, FHP reported. Troopers reported Todd was walking eastbound in the roadway of State 22 as 34-year-old Kristina Muszynski and 34-year-old Andrew Medley, both of Panama City, were traveling west on the road about 11:30 p.m. Later that evening, 14-year-old Nathan Todd of Panama City was walking in the area of State 22 and Nelle Street when he was struck by a car, according to Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) reports. Whited was taken to Bay Medical Sacred Heart with critical injuries. Officers arrived to find Whited on a sidewalk on the south side of Thomas Drive, police reported. Officers reported Whited was driving a Honda Shadow motorcycle when he hit a curb on Thomas Drive and was thrown from the bike.

Police identified the driver as 36-year-old John Whited. It happened on South Thomas Drive near the Shores of Panama Condominiums, the Panama City Beach Police Department (PCBPD) reported. Vandergriff came back to Robbins in the shower and said the child was having trouble breathing.
